Hello, my name is Daniel Ilinca and I am a self taught photographer, retoucher and videographer.

I was planning to become an accountant. Between my economics classes I always found time for my hobby: photography. Ever since I was 13, I remember me walking around my hometown with my very old analog camera. But my real journey in this field started in 2008. I am very grateful for all the positive feedback received since I posted my first image online. This made me work hard and since 2010, it’s a full time job.

I  love working with people, so I always preferre taking pictures of real persons, rather than landscaped or architecture.

My creative process is really time consuming. The work I invest in each photograph takes up from two to five hours. I’d rather make an extra effort to capture the perfect image than overuse Photoshop.

I have worked with many Romanian and international artists until now, for both personal and commercial projects. (Morandi, Antract, Jazzy Jo, Don Baxter, Tibi Scobiola Band, Trupa Zero,Vicky Red, Baboi, Karie etc.)

I’ve had and I still have a big interest in fashion photography. This year I made the best campaigns yet. I tried to develop my own style and I am very satisfied about the results.
